Amoxicillin

Amoxicillin is an antibiotic used to treat a variety of bacterial infections, including:

• Tonsillitis
• Bronchitis
• Pneumonia
• Gonorrhea
• Infections of the ear, nose, throat, skin, and urinary tract

Dosage and Administration:

Adults and Children Weighing More Than 20 kg:

• Dosage: 250 to 500 mg orally, three times daily.

Children Weighing Less Than 20 kg:

• Dosage: 20-40 mg per kg of body weight per day, divided into three doses.
