Acepain Injection (Acetaminophen)

Description

• Appearance: Clear, light yellow, transparent injection in a plastic container for a colorless and transparent saline solution.

Drug Substance and Quantity

• Active Ingredient: Acetaminophen 1g per 100mL

Indications

• Immediate Intravenous Administration: Necessary for pain or high fever when other administration routes are not possible.
• Short-term Treatment: For moderate pain (especially post-surgery) and fever.

Dosage and Administration

Adults and Children Over 33kg (Approximately 11 Years Old)

• Adults Over 50kg:
  • Dose: 1000mg of Acetaminophen per administration.
  • Frequency: Up to 4 times per day.
  • Interval: At least 4 hours between doses.
  • Maximum Daily Dose: 4g.
• Children Over 33kg and Adults Under 50kg:
  • Dose: Approximately 15mg/kg of Acetaminophen (1.5mL/kg).
  • Interval: At least 4 hours between doses.
  • Maximum Daily Dose: 4g.

Patients with Moderate Kidney Disorder

• Creatinine Clearance Rate ≤ 30mL/min:
  • Interval: At least 6 hours between doses.

Administration Method

• Intravenous Injection: Administer over approximately 15 minutes.

Storage

• Conditions: Store at room temperature (1~30℃) in a sealed container.

Shelf Life

• Use Period: 24 months from the manufacturing date.
